    I think the WBU has gone as well.........

    Hopefully the Commonwealth will be next, then the WBO.

    I think the Commonwealth is still a good way for African fighters to 'make a name'. Its also a good 'plan B' if a fighter can't go down the Brit/ Euro route for some reason.

    Nah Commenwealth isnt going nowhere it has too much historical significance. There was a time when if you held that belt you was as good as a world champ.The period in the early 2000's late 90's completely devalued it when Warren had his fighters pitted against African roadsweepers and drivers from Commenwealth nations no one had ever heard of. The BBofC just need to fix up and come up with a decent ranking system as well as mandatories.

    As for the WBO i hope they go out of business.

    I totally agree with that post.

    Years ago you used to get genuine top class guys from Canada, Australia etc going for it. These days they don't even go near it.

    This past year it has become the 'interim BBBoC British title' in all but name.
