To be fair Haye and Booth didn't have much bargaining power. Wlad is the champ, massive in Germany and Haye was trying to jump the queue for a title shot based on one half decent win at heavyweight.

I agree and have thought that if Haye was with GBP or something then this probably wouldn't have happenned (assuming it was because of the money he pulled out). Even if the deal had been the same, a bigger company might have been more able to gaurentee his payment even if it meant a short term loss for them.

It also makes me wonder how bad the first few contracts he was offered were if he insists this one was much better than those.

    Wlad holds all the belts.
Haye brings nothing to the table so he has no bargaining power.
He was willing to take a huge risk financialy which i comend him for.
The guy must have been confident to agree to the fight with Setanta being his only source of income.

Wlad does hold all the cards you're right, but Haye always insisted that Wlad would make more by fighting him than anyone else so I don't know if Wlad normally has to pay some of the gate, German TV money etc.

I agree that he must have been confident to accept the terms he did and it shows up a lot of the talk of Haye being a ***** to be bull**** - just as it was all bull**** when everyone was saying he would never sign a contract because he was shitting himself.

If Haye loses to Wlad, why would and should Haye be bashed for losing. He came from cruiserweight lol. Oh, Haye's mouth...lol. That is the reason why Haye, being the naturally smaller guy gets shitted on lol, his mouth.

:goodAgreed as well. People need to wake up and accept the rational truth. As for Haye, for the person who thought he wasn't- Haye is actually with GBP. Hayemaker Promotions is effectively a subsidary of GBP that operates in the UK. That's why Schaeffer was at the Wlad talks and often talks about Haye's current situation as well.

Haye pulled out cause of Setanta only fools argued that he was really injured, the very talk of different injuries and a complete lack of doctor evidence presented to even Wlad confirmed this for most with common sense.

However Haye lying about being hurt is BS

He cost a lot of British fans money those that diid not go will not get refund on flights or hotels he could at least have been honest with them,

And break his contract and have to pay Wlad millions in compensation.
The only way to get out of the fight without paying huge compensation is with injury.
    Can you ****ing blame him.
Risk fighting for nothing and maybe losing then losing all bargaining power as he just becomes another victim of Wlad.
    Use your brains.

I can guarentee you that David has lost a lot more money than any fan with his training expenses and upkeep of his gym.

I feel sorry for David.... he has been chasing this fight for a long time and 2 weeks before the fight finds out he isn't going to get paid. He's now lost his chance to fight Wlad and his pay day and now has to look for a new tv company, new oponent ect... none of which is down to him :-(

That's pish. A lot of people like Haye because his fights are good to watch, he goes after the big fights and is quite funny with his trash talking. Nothing to do with race.
