Its obvious that Haye pulled out due to the Setanta bankruptcy.

Didn´t he tell the people "This is for Dempsey, Joe Louis, Marciano...."

Hell these guys would have fought the HW-champ for free because they knew they could win.

Haye showed with his pulling out that he is afraid of Klitschko. Otherwise he wouldve taken the fight for free.

BTW I opened a thread with the same topic (Haye pulled out due to Setanta) last week and the thread was deleted a short time after opening and I was banned from the board for this for a week.....no joke!

Do you nuthuggers think for one second that not getting paid would have stopped any of these fighters from a title shot?

    Dempsey
    Marciano
    LaMotta
    Louis
    Holmes

you get the point? Haye is a Glass Jawed joke. I can't wait to see that fragile Glass Jaw of his shattered and it will happen very soon.

Some people don't even judge the issues, their opinion on a matter is based entirely on whether they like or dislike a fighter.

Some of the "Haye should fight for free" posts in this thread have been laughable. Professional boxers (theres a clue in there somewhere) don't fight for nothing, not Dempsey, not Ali and certainly not Holmes or Marciano who were very carefull about money.

I never said he should fight Klitschko for free. What I said was that if big boy was so certain that he was going to win the fight he would not pulled out because he was going to get paid enough. Haye knows that if he beats Klitschko he becomes a boxing superstar and can command mega millions for any fight plus he cements his legend....but what did he do??? Oh me hand is hurt...Oh no its not me hand its me back...Oh wait its not me hand or me back its me wallet that hurts!!!! Please!!! What a vagina, I hope his wife has some balls because someone in that family needs some. YOU DON'T PULL OUT OF THE BIGGEST FIGHT OF YOUR LIFE OVER MONEY IF YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE GONNA WIN!

    You plank.
It was not about the fact he was not going to get paid enough.
He was not going to get paid full ****ing stop.
Who do you think pays for the training camp, sparring partners, travel cost, training etc etc etc. HAYE DOES.
So he has already lost that money.
Then you want him to pay for his managment, trainer, corner men, hotels, travel, food, etc etc etc. That **** can run in to millions outof his own pocket.
And then if he loses to Wlad then how the **** does he secure a fight to repay the millions of pounds worth of debt he is in when he has no bargaining power and is just another victim of Wlad.
Here is a tip for you.
    Engage brain, think, type.
You wont come accross half as stupid if you follow those 3 simple rules.

Your argument is purely hypothetical and frankly, patently absurd. With regards to their declaration of confidence, I dare say many fighters may mis-lead the public during the build up to fights. He likes to take risks, but he ain't stupid. You have to remember that this is professional boxing, not a kung-fu film.
