Warren "I have 3/4 biggest ticket sellers in Britain"

It's 2/4. And to be fair neither are anything to with Warren. Warrington has sold huge amounts of tickets on his own with sky then coming in and tapping into the football casual market.

Fury has done well since the coming back in regards to ticket sales- but even after the last fight people were reminded on how unfriendly his style actually is for majority. Stick him in with a European level fighter and I doubt he sells out the MEN

 

Warrington has the same advantage as Leeds United do. Huge support because of location.

Leeds is the biggest 1 club city in Europe, along with historical success and lack of competition sporting wise, it helps them get HUGE followings in everything. The catchment area they have is ridiculous as well, Selby, Wakefield etc

Obviously those of us on here that follow football know how well United are supported. The Rhinos and Cricket get big followings as well. So when you get a local lad who supports the city and teams, they get the pack mentality and get behind him.

Even though Warrington is like watching paint dry...

 

I'd say matchroom have more national sellers.

Frampton and to a bigger degree Warrington are local superstars

 

Bellew v Usyk is about to sell out the Manchester Arena. Let’s see what Warrington v Frampton does. That will give us a better indication.

Tbf I do think Warrington/Frampton sells out. Going to be a rowdy crowd for sure lol.

Got to have respect for Frank Warren*. No matter the somewhat checkered history where bankruptcy/court cases etc are concerned, the guy is a survivor and is managing to survive and do well despite competing against the Matchroom boys with their sky tv deal and all that goes with it.

I think both parties benefit from the panto show between them and the boxers certainly do as they have somewhere else to go if an offer isn't right for them.

Potentially Warrington and Framoton can be up there. Both can draw good crowds but neither is proven over a sustained amount of fights, well to an extent but not in the top five.

Joshua, Groves, Khan, Bellew, Brook and Khan do are on level with and Crolla does pretty well too.

Frank has some ticket sellers but he's blowing some smoke here.

 

Come off it!
There were 25,000 watching Brook fight at Bramall Lane. Dave Allen was on the undercard and the stadium was empty.

 

Groves was on the undercard too in a world title fight. If you don’t think that had a massive impact on the ticket sales then I don’t know what to tell you.
