The proposed lightweight intercontinetal WBF between Derry Matthews and Chris Goodwin is off.

Derry is now going to act as chief support in a card that Frank Warren is co promoting and the headline fight will be at lightweight apparently.

    Possibly Murray? Mitchells tuneup? Other?

    Cheers

If it's up these ways then I'd guess that it would be Murray headlining?

Decent foot in the door for Matthews though, if he can put in a good performance (particularly off the back of his showing in prizefighter) then he could get some decent fights. He's still a ticket seller too, so should be able to get a nice little earner if he's on top of his game. Good luck to him.

Maybe Warren has moved Murray to later in the month up north now that Mitchell is otu of the equation and nobody is there to sell tickets. Perhaps we see Bellew vs McEnzie put on there to.

Lets hope its not Murray vs Matthews.

Matthews is a decent ticket seller can still draw 1000+ in Liverpool so putting him as chief support and getting Murray on isnt bad business if he wants to pack them in a bit.

As much as i hate to say it Matthews Murray would be a massacre. Derry has some nice counterpunching and would catch Murray coming in but I am not confident about Derrys ability to deal with pressure over a prolonged period and he would fold sooner rather than later imo for another highlight reel ko

    WBF?

Is the Rock in an eliminator? I expect him to be fast tracked to a title shot now he is back.
