Maybe you didn't but it seemed to me others did want to discuss it again. It's essentially a stalemate because both parties a not prepared to change their stance. You chose to quote my post & reply, you could have ignored it.

I wasn't blaming my "newbie woes" on anyone. My join date might be recent but I'm not a newbie to the site. I was referring to the thread started yesterday addressing the influx of disrespectful newbies. How would you like me to post? Of course the one liner, expletive riddled posts are not welcome but it would also seem anything remotely derrogatory about Hatton is not welcome either.

I'm personally tired of hearng about Joe Calzaghe which is why I don't post on the general forum anymore. Hatton's only getting this air time again because he has annouced a sub par opponent. I'm sure we will soon be discussing someone else.

Lets not argue mate, I'm not the enemy.;)

Thats fair enough mate, if you look at my posts in that 'newbie' thread you mentioned you'll see I made one saying something like "just because you're new to boxing forums, doesn't mean youre new to boxing" (I forget exactly). I don't equate forum join dates with boxing knowledge...;)

I have no problem with anyone else discusiing all the points in your post, it was just that, for the reasons you mentioned, I've had enough, so purely for clarity I just snipped to the part I hadn't heard before and made a point about that. Yes, I could have ignored all the post but I did want to make the point that decent boxers have fought at 140 for 40-50 years solid now without getting dragged into other arguments and that seemed the best way to do it. :D

ffs he's on Sky Sports again being pardaded around the City of Manchester stadium before the game. Anyone would think he was a war hero or something. He was comparing his up & coming fight to Benn Eubank.:-(

Just in location/ ticket sales presumably? I hope so anyway, I can't see any other way it can reasonably be compared?

Adverts in a few of todays papers for his next fight but no mention of the opponent. Maybe they are not 100% with lucy-anzo.

It was but it was the way he seemingly had to mention he'd sold more tickets than their fight.

Other than the size of the live gate, theres not really much else noteworthy about the fight.:D But, hey, if he's sold more tickets, he's sold more tickets....

Yup & no doubt we'll hear about it from him repeatedly.

Is it really that bad though.....? Its not as if he's comparing he quality of fight/ opposition/ or the importance to Benn-Eubank, just the size of the gate (although, while we're talking posting etiquette, you did omit this <ahem!> small detail when mentioning the comparisionl;)).
