This thread is redundant...many fighters grow a beard during training camp, RJJ, Lacy, Haye to name a few.

Come fight night, they are always back to normal!!

 

Why should he have to shave it off? No body made Valuev shave his back.

 

Valuev's 40 lbs of body hair probably cushion him from heavy body blows.

I am afraid that promoters are the ones that earn the money. Without promotion you would not have a fight. Maybe a street fight but not a boxing one.

 

That is not a thing a Promoter should say on the eve of the fight. Haye may have been unprofessional not showing up in the presser but this is a disgusting attack from Warren - he insists?!!... Happens that Macca is going to pay for it and I don't see this one going any further than 7 rounds. I am already seeing it - Macca jabbing and moving around, steps in to land a left hook to the ribs and Haye unleashes a one-two and it's over.

 

Warren is correct.

Look at the way Lewis used his beard to TKO Klitschko.

It was in reference to a few thousand VITLAY v Lewis threads that we had here.

Some blamed the dreadlocks, so blamed the beard.

To be fair, most moderate Klitschko fans agreed that it was a combination of both.
