Warren interview on Khan

    Forgive my cynicism, but I reckon Khan jumped ship for one reason alone...

    $$$$$$$$

    And fair play to him. Athletes get short careers, he needs to milk the cash cow for all it's worth.

    I think Warren did a relatively good job with Khan. We were crying out for him to fight Thaxton and the like, but Frank has gotten him to a title and bags of cash with only one blip on the way. I dont think Frank would have struggled to get him the big fights, but my guess (and it is purely an incinuation) would be that GBP offered Khan some minimum purses which Khan didnt think he would get with Frank.

    As an aside point, I hate the fact that we, as fans, get to see this side of it. In an ideal world the only thing we would know about is what happens in the ring. This soap opera around contractual disputes bores me at times.

    At the post Salita fight interview Warren didn't seem to keen on the idea of fighting in the States!
