Warren should try and act cool like Marsellus though when he talks.

 

Warren is bitter, not least because to a point he made Hatton, and when his golden goose was about to lay to his golden egg, he flew to another nest.

But that is boxing, and Warren should be grown up enough to accept that, he himself has nicked his fair share of fighters. A Hatton win could lead to a boom in British boxing; and if that happens Warren would be one of people who would benefit the most.

 

Thing is though, if you look it from a neutral viewpoint then Tszyu was 36, & retired immediately after the Hatton fight. So it could be argued it wasnt a 'prime' Tszyu hatton faced. & since he has left warren, hatton has put in some average performances against Collazo, Urango & Maussa. So it could be argued hattons skills have eroded since he left Warren.
& last but by no means least, Hatton only fighting Floyd for the money. I dont believe that for a second, cos I think Hatton honestly thinks hes going to win this fight, & win easily. Theres no way Hattons only turning up for the payday. so I dont know where Warren is coming from with that one.

But stop calling him 'big evil Franl' just cos hes got an opinion on Hatton that isnt one big asslick leading up to the fight, like the rest of the british media...
Its actually refreshing to hear someone from these shores dare have an opinion about Hatton that isnt all this "go on my san" style madness that has gripped the nation! Constructive criticism has been reviled by many in the lead up to this fight, & its annoying. This thread is a case in point, calling warren a '****' & all that cos he dares say Hatton isnt the next Roberto Duran!

 

Oh, there are plenty of reasons to call Warren a **** anyway, this is just one of them.

He's far from the only guy in the UK media to be critical and picking against Ricky...it's just that in his case, as the former promoter that would've been happy to let Hatton defend his WBO title for another 5 years against half-baked opposition, it comes across as bitter.

 

Lets hear some more names then... Cos I havent found anyone saying Floyd WILL win. I have seen one or two saying Floyd SHOULD win, followed by "but if Ricky does this or that blah blah he could win" much hedging of bets as GazOC said before me, but not enough necks being put on the block.

 

I am really shocked that Warren has said this because if Hattons looses badly, which Warren clearly thinks will happen, the yanks will not want anything to do with him anymore and the only place for him will be England.

Hatton knows he can make more money from signing with Warren than Hobson or the rest so I would not of been suprised if Ricky had gone back to him and fought Rees or even the Witter fight gets made.

Didn't Warren drop a law suit against rickys dad recently if they agreed to talk about working together again!

 

Wank Warren always **** talk in his article. Constantly making sly snipes at other British boxers and promotes before spouting some garbage about one of his own "stars". I hope he realises the reason people dislike most of his fighters or ex fighters is because he himself is such a creep and shithead.

 

to put frank in perspective, he tied up the g-mex center so hatton could not fight there, must have cost him a fair bit of money to do that, and definatley not a profit making exercise , just being spitefull and vindictive ,
