For a year now warren remained pretty muted over khans departure he didn't blast khan in any of his weekly columns, Now recently particularly mid way through last year whenever any of his main attractions received the lime light they would bring up khans name. For instance mitchell said he'd KO khan for leaving warren before katsidis put those thoughts of his to rest as well as his career. With mitchell destroyed the next english sensation to take up the gauntlet was kell brook, brook is a weight class above khan yet warren claims to have offered khan an undisclosed sum of money to fight him, i get the feeling warrens trying to **** on khan for leaving him and hasnt gotten over oscar taking his golden goose away. He wants ppl in england to belive that khans ducking european standard fighters and would rather face the heavy hands of maidana instead of his euro level stable, now it seems warren will sign murray a fighter who has a history of bitterness towards khan, it wont surprise me the least if murray starts dropping khans name during his post fights claiming khans running scared from him and fighting the likes of tim bradley instead.None of his stable can sell tickets like khan even for 1 night warren would sacrifice 1 of his fighters just to capitalise on the event.
I would not use the word clever to describe franks behaviour. Now the way he has delboy in the way of hayemakers big pay is something else. The only clever game Warren is playing is shrewd business sense. He is still able to sell his own PPV's under Khan's name even though he doesnt promote him now thats clever
