I was trying to think of ppvs that are not for world titles and featured fighters not really known on the world stage, kahn-barrera is a good shout for non title but they are famous boxers. never thought about hatton -pac but they are both world famous and have bn world champs. any other come to mind???

If this is the things to come from Warren and his Saturday night cards all on PPV he wont be getting my money. I cant beleive he is trying to show this card on a PPV without a World title fight. Khan didnt do good numbers and I cant see any of these doing good numbers for a PPV. If this is the way Warren is doing Saturday night cards it is a shame all these fighters need exposure and getting the cards on normal Sky would of been much better. I will be content with Maloney , Hatton and Hearn on normal Sky. The Mitchell fight for a world title was not on PPV if my memory is right while all of this is I know what 1 I would of paid for first.

come of it mate what does a bogus world title mean. this is the best ppv card sky have ever done of it comes off. plus sky box office generally gets more viewers than a friday fight night.

    Don't go overboard now ;)

But I do agree with what you're saying about there being no need for a 'world' title being on the line.

I'll be amazed if that card actually comes off. But all credit, the only annoying thing is most of those will be highlights and that's a shame for fights of that calibre.

Rafael Marquez vs Juan Manuel Lopez
    Shane Mosley vs Sergio Mora
    Victor Ortiz vs Vivian Harris
    Saul Alvarez vs Matthew Hatton
    Wladimir Klitschko vs Alexander Povetkin
    Lovemore N'Dou vs Bongani Mwelase
    Derek Chisora vs Sam Sexton
    Darren Barker vs Matt Macklin
    Nathan Cleverly vs Karo Murat
    Enzo Maccarinelli vs Alexander Frenkel
    Don Broadhurst vs Jon Donnelly
    Ryan Rhodes vs Lukas Konecny
    Kell Brook vs Michael Jennings
    James DeGale vs Tony Dodson
    Frankie Gavin vs Curtis Woodhouse
    Carl Froch vs Arthur Abraham

**** me. If all that comes off that's the best night of boxing I can ever remember.

Thinking about it, it's too many tasty fights on one bill. There's only so long you can concentrate properly on the action and enjoy it fully, 4/5 bouts tops.
