Warren has no World champs, No Euro that i can think of, very few British, all he really has is the dreaded "commonwealth" still going strong!. He doesnt even have anyone who looks like they will step up to world class this year, unless they get a shot at the vacant WBO, then defend against bums, which may well happen.
No doubt Fwank will be on the phone to the WBU and get some titles for his Olympians and Gavin who he considers an Olympian bacause he stayed in the Olympic village for a few days.
yeh if Khan had not won last night Warren would be a dire straights. Only Mitchell and Khan look like winning a world title in the next 2 years.
He has Khan, three Olympians and loads of good domestic heavyweights. Not to mention that with the right management he'll put Arthur, Cook, Macca back in the WBO picture.
I think Arthur, Cook and enzo are done tbh, The olympians are a good few years of any sort of title, he does have a few prospects who may move onto British level this year or should i say commonwealth. For the first time Hennesy and Malony have a higher class stable.
If all these Warren fighters perform to there maximum potential heres what they could possibly achive this year.......with only Mitchell, Khan looking to have potential to win a world title in 2010 Martin Rogan - Euro Title Matt Skelton - British Title Dean Francis - Euro Title Enzo Macceranelli - Brit/Comm Title Nathan Cleverly - Euro Title Derek Chisora - British/Comm Title Sam Sexton - British/Comm Title Paul Smith - British/Comm Title Matthew Macklin - Euro Title Matthew Hall - British Title Jamie Cox - British/Comm Title Kell Brook - Euro Title Michael Jennings - British/Comm Title Rees - British/Comm Title Alex Arthur - Euro Title Amir Khan - Euro Title Kevin Mitchell - Euro Title Nicky Cook - Euro Title Stephen Foster - British/Comm title Ricky Burns - British Title Don Broadhurst - British/Comm Title i think it may work out good for the fans as warren is going to have to start putting guys like brook, khan, cleverly, chisora, and mitchell in tougher fights.
