I get the feeling too that he wanted to look bigger and heavier as part of this pipe dream about following Haye up to heavyweight to gain revenge/get absolutely slaughtered. Trying to look like more a heavyweight. Which is ridiculous all round really.

Watched it again last night. I think Enzo did land more heavy shots than given credit for, lefts and rights to head and body. But Afolabi showed strong whiskers, Enzo never tried to box rather than slug and his jab was absolutely nowhere.

He wanted that knockout big time, another residual effect of the Haye loss, and was in there with the wrong kind of guy to try that with. Afolabi had too much ring smarts for that approach.

 

I hear that Joe is taking up a full time training role there now. I haven't got a link or anything, heard it from a Swansea MMA fighter who sometimes trains in their gym. They need to do something and fast coz it all seems to have all fallen apart overnight.

 

If thats the case i must have a shot at the World title !!!
