My point exactly, they are wankers. They make up the rules as they go along, i've had hell trying to unsubscribe from them, and its still ongoing.
And then they'll tell you the T & C's have changed and it's now two months written notice to cancel. And then bombard you with texts and calls if you cancel your direct debit. They're a sham of a company.
I think Setanta's worth the money, with the footy you get as well. Hopkins V Pavlik, All Hayes fights, Calzaghe V Jones are all on Setanta
I don't like Frank Warren but agree that Setanta are a cowboy outfit. I've cancelled with them and they are a pain in the arse and horrible to deal with. Their customer service is the worst I have dealt with (and that is saying alot) Setanta's picture is woeful compared to Sky too. Hopefully they both go bankrupt :smoke
I had a broadband subscription but when I moved abroad had to cancell it. To my suprise after two emails the subscription was cancelled with only one moth taken as notice.
:yep Terrible. I phoned up the other week and a youngster answered, I told him my problem and there was silence for a few seconds then he stuttered, "Due to high call volumes you'll have to call back Monday":nut I was so shocked (because it's normally an answerphone that gives you this message) I just said, "Yeah OK mate".
They do the most amatuer things to get out of talking about problems you have, or if you are cancelling. They will hang up on you and it's obvious it's on purpose.
I wrote to them once, sent it recorded delivery and I had a POD. They denied they ever received the letter and they never responded. I phoned, spoke nicely, asked questions, shouted.......I even spoke Welsh but all to no avail. I wish I had taken it further but the thought of wasting my time didn't exactly inspire me. I've no need to cancel at the moment but should I in the future, I'd just stop my direct debit.
