I am super impressed with these guys, Lee from Korea, Warren from the U.S

The fight was one of the first for each, may as well have been a final!
Both have been amateur world champs, the winner Lee could very go on to win in what could well be the toughest division.
A big upset too, the Yank (who is current world champ) thought he was ahead and kept his distance at the end.

Decision was very fare IMO though.

    Anyone catch this one?

Yeah, pretty big upset. Can't believe the americans corner told him he was up and to run, poor guy must be shattered. 2nd olympics, 2nd time he's out in the first round, for a guy of his talent it's a real shame. He just needed to throw straighter punches and he would of got it, i haven't seen him look that sloppy before.

It must be extremely tough for a Yank to lose to a Korean at the Olympics, considering the RJJ saga back at Seoul.

Warren does look to be a good talent and the fight was his to win, all credit to the Korean though, even though he was ahead at the end he was still pressing forward!

Haha yeah i didn't think of that. This Korean is quality though, he had a lightning counter right hand, straight punches win fights.

You have no idea what kind of repercussions this will have in USA Boxing.

What a great fight. That was pretty ****ed when he thought he was ahead, and I thought that last punch might have scored.. But credit to the Korean he did well, and showed good sportsmanship to.
