There's also the "make eveyone lots of money angle" to consider.

Burns was wonderful in the Martinez fight, but if he & Arthur got it on again?

I wouldnt write off Arthur. He may be on a poor run of form, but Alex Arthur on his day is one tough hombre for any fighter.

Alex now has two wins over fighters in the current SFW top 10, so the man cannot be dismissed as mere cannon fodder for anyone.

I said they'd make this match. There is absolutely zero chance of Ricky fighting anyone outside of the UK for a while. Franks just had his longest spell without a world champ for a long time. Lets hope he turns Rick into a UK star now- he deserves it and won't make a **** of himself like some other champions.

Aye. Arthur's weight permitting ... why shouldn't they. Burns deserves a payday or three.

Good rematch for Burns. Burns doesn't mentally break now and Arthur may have lost a step. Cross roads fight. Burns rights a wrong on his record or Arthur reclaims his throne.
