Stick him straight in with Mitchell. Murray would wear him down and stop him in the mid-late rounds without too many problems.

Then see if Warren can pull an eliminator or a fight with a top 10 ranked guy out of the bag.

If Warren signs him get him on the next Mag 7 bill in March which will be DeGale vs Groves headlining so on London. Have him in a defence of his european against world ranked guys.

Murray is currently WBC No.4, IBF No.13

Valentin Kuts is the IBF No.9

Then you get him a world title eliminator in June. Could even be agaisnt the winner of Alex Arthur vs Kevin Mitchell who would be highly ranked by the IBF due to Mitchell No.12 rating with them.

Another route would be Katsidis. Pretty sure Warren could get Murray ranked by the WBO and then get Murray vs Katsidis for the vacant title when Marquez vacates. I think that fight could headline a PPV with a solid undercard and sell out the MEN.

Marquez will give up those titles so Acosta vs Rios winner and the WBO will be vacant.

Murray vs Katsidis for the vacant title at the MEN is a BIG fight.

Why would Warren want to throw Mitchell to the wolves. He is a big name and ticket seller and could still be a world champion.

I honeslty wouldn't mind seeing Limmond but would he take the fight. He turned down Mitchell as it was low money and it won't be a different offer for Murray.

It's a good fight for Murray - Rees will make it entertaining, but he's being sacrificed to get John onboard.

big dunk, theres a spanner for this works, whats warren going to do with him when rees beats him, a lot of fights can be made but ones you can win are another matter, rees, has the edge in every department, john needs to milk the titles he's got' as its the wrong time for him to step up, one bad beating and if murrays in a beating it will be a long one as hes game and will hang in as long as possible. thats him finito prmanant, retire job.:think:good

Portside, have you been on the moonshine? Rees has no edge whatsoever: smaller, less skilled, no punch, not a great combination puncher, average movement.

    A simple 4-way tourney of

    Rees/Murray winner taking on
    Mitchell/Arthur winner

    Would be pretty good.

Can't see Warren matching Murray with Mitchell unless it's for a title.

ive seen as much of both as yourself, john isent a big hitter neither, reece has fought tough lightwelters, very experienced, they both have a high workrate, rees loss to kotelnik in last round was far from a disaster, as a lot thought he beat elexander, and a few years ago witter was lucky to get by kotelnik, wen hatton was avoiding him like the plaig, john is a step below this class, rees will pound him in a tough fight, from wich, due to his own bravery, and rees lack of a finisher, he'll soak up a hell of a lot of punishment. ps i don't drink.:think:good

I dont know why if given the chance, everybody doesnt go with Warren... He is the one with the TV and the track record...

You could guarentee that if Carl Froch was with Warren, people would know who he is...
