Sensational turnaround in the Calzaghe/Warren camp.

"HBO want Calzaghe to fight Hopkins, but they regard Joe as the name, not Bernard. But for me an even bigger fight would involve Joe taking on middleweight number one Kelly Pavlik."

Maybe this is possibly a ploy to lure GBP to up the ante, although after De la Hoya released the $16million "buyout" offer for Calzaghe where he would essentially be bought as a fighter from Warren its hard to see where that comment will go from here.

This statement comes out of Warren's mouth - he would be the one to loose his cash cow - so he tries to keep it or just tries to get more money in compension...

How they gonna make Calzaghe Vs Pavlik? Calzaghe has already said his next fight will not be at the 168lbs or lower and Pavlik fights at 160lbs. I'm not sure what Warren is going on about as after the Calzaghe/Kessler fight he made it clear that fight could not be made. Calzaghe needs to get it on with B-Hop and then worry about Pavlik if he gets past Taylor in the rematch.

Pavliks next fight is at 166 so they could have it at a catch weight of 170.

Typical Frank Warren. I'd like HIM to fight Pavlik. GBP called him out and he ran. Maybe JC will take the fight with BHOP and let Warren sue him. Hatton walked from Warren and Warren backed down. Anyway what weight would Pavlik fight JC at? JC aint never doing 168 again.Wtf Pavlik at 175???

Pavlik would be more of a challange for Joe than BHop

Pavlik is fighting at 160 and Calzaghe at 168, catchweight of 170 don't make sense

Pavlik is the greater challenge, but seems pointless at this stage of Calzaghes career.

He needs a good send off against a proven long lasting name in B-Hop.

Warren is looking to pinch every last penny he can get out of Calzaghes last fight. For shame.

But he never fought at that weight, also Calzaghe never fought above SMW so catchweight 170 isn't a good idea. Maybe a catchweight of 157 :tong

Warrens fullo****. Calzaghe and Bhop have been verbally abusing one another to the point that the fight has to happen. I'm still laughing at the ol popkins:lol:  In the meantime it would be nice to hear Joe continue the verbal beatdown:good
