I have to disagree with that due to there styles. Speed kills power anyday and Calzaghe is lightyears ahead of Pavlik in that. Pavlik can also be outboxed as we saw JT do it before the pressure folded him. I think Cal has a fairly easy time with the Ghost in fact Im hoping Pavlik KO's JT within the first 3 rounds that way Pavlik could possibly be a favorite in that fight so I could win some good money. Cal will easily dispatch of Pavlik with speed and skill. He's too much of everything. Bhop is just annoying to fight and posesses huge problems with his movement and tricky sneeky tactics. Holding and hitting and all the movement will give Cal a problem.

Id prefer a fight with Dawson in all honesty, I expect if the BHOP fight happens everyone will slate JC for fighting an "old" fighter, regardless of whether Nard still has it or not

That is the only person I dont think Cal can beat in or around those weight classes. Dawson has turned into something to reckon with and has chased all challengers in his weight class out. I just wish things could have worked between him and Mayweather Sr.
i think they make a good team in styles. But he's just to big and long but Cal still has a shot though just not a good one but I could be wrong.

I agree mate, I wouldnt bet my house on JC winning!! But its those types of fights that he should chase, take a risk, if Dawson really is that good, just think what it would do to JC legacy should he beat him then Dawson goes on to dominate for a decade! **** hopkins, wright, etc, their just names for a payday, peace:good

So when Hopkins said he wants the fight to happen in the US....all of you called Bernard a chicken...pretty much.

Now Warren says he would prefer Pavlik (who Calzaghe would DESTROY), and its a ploy to up the ante......FROM 16 MILLION!!!!!

    :verysad

    Come on guys, be consistant.

Calzaghe said he was moving up. So why the hell would he fight a catch weight 11lbs below the weight he doesn't want to drain to make anymore.

Calzaghe moving up. Pavlik moving up. this is happening regardless of them possibly fighting eachother. So a catch at 170lbs would make sense.
