Well he is more or less a free agent with Brian Peters as his manager.
Brian Peters does promote some of this fights in Ireland (eg Campas) but for the big time will be soley his manager.

Will Mick be watching on telly? Or do you think he's got enough cash stashed away to buy a ticket?

If this fight does happen then I can't honestly see how Macklin can lose...Barker hasn't got the power to discourage him and Barkers last fight is a template of how to beat him...apply pressure and watch Barkers game-plan fall apart.

warren has a lot of prospects to get out, unless the september bill is gigantic theres going to be a backlog of inactive prospects, what happened to the saturday night sky shows, if theres not enough quality in the main event etc, why not put other promoters fighters on, as no matter who's got the main event , at least the other boxers on his list could fight, .

I thought the Warren Saturday night cards were a hit with Sky. Maybe Warrens fights will now be on Saturday nights instead of Friday nights on Sky. Warren to ESPN it would make sense for ESPN to show some live fights in the UK and get a good promoter from the UK on board it could well be a hit. Just like Setanta when they had Hayemaker , Saureland and Warren for a while before Warrens dispute with Setanta along with the US fights. Back then it was great to be a boxing fan compared to now.
Also could ESPN make a move into British boxing look at the classic ESPN are doing British Boxing Heros with Steve Bunce theres 1 part of a team of boxing coverage if ESPN were to do live shows.
