Fun time good for you baby to be confident. What's a fighter than does not believe in himself. If you are keen ask Frank Warren to get in touch and we can do it. Watch what you wish for as you may get it. Flea Man I love you baby and will never put a voodoo curse on you. There are very few people I dislike in boxing and certainly not you. You can tell I like fun time and believe he can go far but Ajose Olusegun will ruin him if the fight is made now. McCloskey can beat Khan not saying that he will but he can.
Olu: good post :good Frankie Vs Ajose is a very intriguing matchup IMO. Would tell us a lot about both men. Frankie Gavin appears special IMO. World class despite his opposition thus far, it's how he's dealt with them. A genuine potential force @ ten stone.
Why's that Gaz? I would say Ajose is a cut above what Frankie has faced so far, but the opposition he has beaten haven't necessarily been any better than what Frankie might fight next. A few of those guys and then Ajose is what you're saying I guess. A Morrison, or Daws-level fighter?
Don't you rate Barker then. I think he is real good fighter techically very like you and Groves due to your excellent amateur grounding. I was particularly impressed with your win over Michael Lomax not that you won but the manner of it. Put it this way I make a study of the 140 pound division and Iets just say I have been watching you. Keep up the good work.
I'm seeing a competitive fight, with Sergio pulling away with his more dynamc offence and combinations when he gets his second wind. Martinez UD 116-112, summat like that. Hopefully Pirog after this next fight, Pirog can go into a big fight without a layoff that way. He's not active enough for my liking, but appears to have a formidable and multi-faceted approach. No doubt Martinez will have to batter Zbik/Chavez Jr. in the near future though. I'm hoping Martinez can remain dominant whilst Lemiuex convinces me further by banging out a few more contenders. That's an interesting showdown IMO.
I know a good fighter and talent when I see one and Fun time can definitely be a real force in my humble opinion. Obviously I have my own guy but think in the UK his best bet is Lynes, Daws or Wright for now. Theophane is much better than people realised. You don't hold your own with world class fighters and defeat the likes of DeMarcus Corley and not have something about. Remember also Ajose has knocked out the likes of Nuumbembee, Lynes,Holgate and Pryce who have all been champions
I'd pay some serious money to see him beat up on Jr. for a few rounds :hey I think Pirog would pose a good challenge due to his approach and style as you mentioned. Very impressed by him but far too inactive for the most part. Should take short money to get on HBO a couple more times and build his name. Very good fighter to watch though. I'd say that's the best fight out there for Serg at 160 at this point in time. It's a shame Sergio isn't 2 or 3 years younger as 160 has some potential fights which could be very good in about 18 months time. The likes of Golovkin, Pirog, Lemiuex, N'Dam (not too sold on him atm) would be interesting tests but right now aren't quite seasoned enough or a big enough name to make fights worthwhile.
