Thoughts? WBA must have had a team doing a couple of all nighters doused in the stench of black coffee and cutters choice spinning through endless scrolls of their rules to allow that.
I'll give Warrington his dues, he just gets on with it. He's not been the same since that first Lara fight though, looks vulnerable. He sells tickets and is happy to fight, he's always going to get big fights.
im in construction and working all over East Sussex, they seem to love him on building sites down here.
My mate is a huge Leeds fan and used to go to his fights but didn’t even know he was fighting when he fought Lopez on DAZN. Wood v Warrington was one of the British fights of the year on paper and I hardly know anyone who watched it.
a clandestine 4-round dance with a local doorman in front of a ref and timekeeper in continental Europe will solve that issue, watch this space
Most of us on here are pretty big boxing fans, we will be aware of events going on regardless of broadcaster. If I know about events going on that more casual fan friends might not know about, I tell them about it.
Depends what you’re classing Leeds as? The City of Leeds? Or Leeds United? Not sure how much you follow football but in England, other than Manchester United/Liverpool/Arsenal then Leeds are probably the most following club (or neck and neck with Chelsea, Spurs; and maybe now Man City) around the country. So yes Warrington will be well supported outside the City of Leeds but mainly by Leeds United fans.
I guess he took a good travelling support to the Frampton fight but aside from that, he's mostly been at a Leeds venue which I assume was the question here. His fight at Wembley Arena was mid-lockdown so didn't give him a chance to sell.
