No one takes him seriously after he dipped his head in vaseline to headbutt Lara and then ducked a 3rd fight.

 

If Warrington should get into trouble on Saturday, he'll probably just headbutt his opponent

 

I like Warrington but his headbutting to is almost comical (unless you're the one getting nutted). Surely he's good enough to not do it

 

Little rat who plays on the Leeds thing for a fanbase and smothers his head in vaseline to cheat his way to victory. Apart from that he's a nice fella.

 

It's unrealistic to expect ticket sales to be unaffected by the current economic climate and 8000 is not a small number for a boxing event but I think the replies above show there's been a substantial fall from grace for Josh from the heights of his Frampton win.

I wouldn't say I was fully on the train, I didn't like the feeling of a stacked deck when he fought Galahad for instance. I'd subscribed to DAZN for BIvol and doubtless their plan was that I'd stay on board for the Warrington fight but after I thought about the second Lara fight with the vaseline and butting and the pretty shameless display by his team in the post fight comments that killed most of my remaining enthusiasm and I cancelled the subscription.

You can't have it both ways, if you build up a fighter to be a 'take on anyone, anytime' character and then perform cartwheels trying to get yourself out of a matchup with someone who turned out to be a lot more dangerous than you expected then it will catch up with you at some point.

The tickets have gone well enough considering. Not a sellout but getting close enough.

The thing that bothers me about Warrington - how often does he have to say "one more fight and we're all going to Vegas"? He was at it again today - it's almost like they're playing up to the Leeds crowd in case it's that last big fight.

Suspect he's going to be disappointed if he thinks hordes will follow him to Vegas too, let alone earn big money there.

Not a fan of Warrington but it’s more than respectable after seeing recent shows.

 

He's been saying it since the Galahad fight and this is his 4th fight in Leeds since then.

About 4 years ago he may have had a decent following go over but the novelty/hype has worn off him now. They still bang on like it'd be Ricky Hatton part 2 though.
