No idea if it's the time of year, what's going on in the world currently, or just the state of boxing right now, but when effectively a sex worker (apologies if that offends, but if Bridges is now on OF, that's basically what she is) masquerading as a "world" champion, has hijacked a fairly intriguing genuine fight with an established champion, then I think it shows the state of the game. After that sadistic show last weekend, where a completely shopworn fighter was allowed to take a sustained beating for round after round, it's difficult to like boxing sometimes. And I've been a fan for 45+ years.
So selling 8 -10 thousand in the current climate doesn't make him a big ticket seller. Who else other than aj or fury do these figures
didn’t say he’s not. Was just giving an explanation for why lack of ticket sakes would be made into a thread for this show and not Parker vs Ryder.
There seems to be a massive effort to drive attention away from the title of this thread. Lets keep to the topic 'Warrington ticket sales' They must be scrambling badly outside that Leeds Arena to give away those tickets. Tea boy must be freezing LOL Blue = unsold seats
Agreed. If he usually sold 10-12,000 in good times, you could expect him to sell less now since (a) he's lost a bit of momentum and (b) people have a fair bit less money. There aren't many fights outside Fury and AJ which would sell out anywhere just now.
