lol i agree that i could have wasted my time trying to reason out with him since it's only him or a "select few" really thinks that way.

for me, pbf didn't want the fight on the first place. pbf kept on saying pac is an easy fight.

if pac was such an easy fight, why demand the unnecessary testing?

why not go through all of this just like what's been done for years?

why change the rules of a sudden? just because he sees pac as a threat?

oh yeah, pbf didn't the fight on the first place.

Only thing a poll proves is that more people in this site are fooled by Pac's obviously overblown resume.

    It doesn't prove anything.

I agree with every single word. Furthermore, I commend you for having the fortitude to think for yourself and break free from the zombie mentality of so many others on ESB.

Before the De La Hoya fight, Roach blatantly said Oscar can no longer pull the trigger. He was right. Hatton was not only FAR past his prime, but he was overrated to begin with. Cotto has never been nowhere near the same since the Margarito fiasco. He hardly deserved the victory over a Clottey who didn't seem to show any kind of urgency or killer instinct in the fight, which would have been enough to stop Cotto within 12. Pacquiao is VERY lucky to have Freddie Roach's watchful eye watching over him. Roach is extremely intelligent and is what I would call a boxing prophet. He knows when a guy is shot, and he has been doing a damn good job of securing shot guys, who are yet still big names, for Pacquiao. As for Marquez, he's simply a better fighter than Pacquiao. I don't care what the judges said, I saw both fights quite clearly with my own two eyes. Marquez won them.

The fact that Pacquiao is going to run away with the fighter of the year award for beating washed up, overrated Hatton and fragile-minded Cotto, both at weights that suited Pacquiao, sickens me.

Still incredibly impressive seeing as he came from such a low weight. The guys he beat were still considered top fighters by all. Pac is still one of if not the best.

    hahahahaha

He has a great resume, but I don't think it's better than Pacquiao's.

    I don't think so.
There are few if any active boxers with a better resume than Pac therefore Pacs resume deserves praise.

Man please... BHop beat people at THEIR weight... And with his last beatdown of the Midwestern MethHead Marauder, he definitely has a better resume than Pac.

I think the poll results would say more about the posters on ESB than it would about the thread. The thread is legit. Pacquiao fans are Pacquiao fans, not boxing fans, for the most part.
