You know, when I saw him box on a Eubanks card (I think) and he was almost falling out the ring I thought it’s over for his career

In povetkin fight I have to admit he looked like he’d improved since then.. remember Povetkin is highly ranked and Price made it difficult.. what a comeback it would be for Price if he can get that done

That KO looked quite harmless in the grand scheme of things. Pricey is destined for greatness. He simply can't quit yet.

The reality of the situation with Price is that he is better than 90% of the HWs out there and can still have a career.

If he is matched correctly against opponents who are not durable and have below average punch resistance, then he will pick up some wins and some belts.

That performance against Povetkin was the worst thing that could have happened to Price, even worse than the actual KO.

Price looked a little better stamina wise, he knocked Povetkin backwards and gave him a count, more of a balance issue in my opinion but whatever.

I believe people thought Price was going to retire after such a brutal KO so they were very kind with their words, praised him for taking the fight and praised an improved all around performance.

It's all gone to his head and now he believes he still have something to offer, WRONG, his chin didn't improve, his defence didn't improve and for all the praise he has still been stopped 5 times in 27 fights, losing 5 of his last 12.

This will end in tears, its a shame but it is his choice.

Not every boxer is going to be world class/division top 10.

Price did very well in his effort against Povetkin. If he finds joy in the sport, he should continue.

Thats great news. I'd like to see him in back to back fights with Joshua and Wilder, before a rematch with Povetkin. At that point I think he'd be ready to be the Gassievs first fight at heavyweight.

There's a difference between performing well against povetkin......and performing above expectations.

Money is why the guy is carrying on. Only a world title would remove him from being one of boxing's greatest comedy acts.

Price needs to fight easy fights for a while...................he needs a trainer...............only then should he fight someone who can fight back. He has potential, but they put him in too soon...............

Yes, if he is going to continue to fight he should fight easy fights, hire a trainer, get into condition, learn defense balance, he has the power......................

You said they 'put him in too soon'.

He's been fighting, and getting KO'd in hilarious circumstances, for years.

Needs to walk away for sake of his health. If he wants the kind of money most of us can only dream of, there's plenty of boilers out there that need fitting.
