Rodríguez is starting to work the high line drive right hand very well, threading it between the gloves in the eye of the needle or just wide of the lead fist to pop Estrada on the orbital bone. Rodríguez is shifting his weight to either side, bobbing as he stays at mid-range, ducking or parrying the jabs of Estrada before coming in with right hand leads or keying the body.

Rodríguez keeps his thumbs by his temples, very tight guard, nice side to side movement as he pressures intelligently, taking little barracuda nibbles from the long torso and cracking the jaw with that high right hand. Estrada tries lining him up with a whipping right cross behind a lazy jab and Rodríguez sees his opportunity, steps in, lands a short overhand right and dumps Estrada on his ass!! Estrada isn't that hurt, was just knocked off balance and bowled over even though it was clearly a hard shot. Estrada has a chin on him. Estrada is up and jabbing, no longer able to hold Rodríguez at bay with it reliably anymore. Rodríguez losing respect for Estrada's punches, walking through a few jabs, letting them skid off his cheeks so he can flurry on the body. They exchange furiously at the bell, Estrada headhunting and Rodríguez going downstairs, and nod at each other in mutual appreciation.

They're showing a graphic with the Warriors Boxing logo and some elevator music...this is perhaps just what they do as filler between rounds instead of a commercial break?

I dunno, earlier between rounds they were just leaving it on the wide-angle camera view of the audience with heavy metal blasting..

 

Yeah, it's been more than a minute, this isn't the break in between rounds. They're having technical difficulties. For the goddamn main event, that was just starting to reach a boil. Gr!!

 

Ah **** me this is the beginning of the live stream from like four hours ago. If you fast-forward it a few minutes you reach the undercard. I guess whatever service they were using to stream was set to automatically time out at the 4 hour mark on the dot? THAT'S WILDLY INCONVENIENT, WARRIORS BOXING!

What did you make of Titan from the bit that we saw? A lot of work if he wants to hang with top super bantams or feathers (or hell, even the best guys on the domestic scene, at like Mexican national title level, guys like César Juárez, David Carmona, or Jaguarcito Gutiérrez) but I'm digging the overall package so far. I have a soft-spot for defensively responsible bangers, and the dichotomy of keeping up his guard and using lots of upper body movement to slip punches but also daring to spam the lead right hand in triplicate for some reason tickles me pink.

He's also sporting the exact same haircut as me at present so he's cool AF.
