Was 2009 Manny Pacquiao 1 of those special fighters like 1994 RJJ & 1989 Sweet Pea?

don't talk **** you ******. Pac couldn't carry these two fighters' jockstraps even if he paid them.

get it through your thick heads right now that Pac is no h2h great. beating up some incredibly basic fighter like Cotto isn't nearly as impressive RJJ dismantling Toney or anything Whitaker did in his prime. even someone like Frankie Randall would have done a demolition job on Cotto ffs.

Hatton walks around heavier than floyd, he is actually draining himself to make 140. Just look at Hatton's fight night weights at 140.

Floyd victory over happen is a great accomplishment not only did floyd win, but he also knocked him out, something floyd isn't known for.

Hatton was already softened up and KO'd by Floyd and Cotto was beaten and KTFO by Margacheato.

Ready for the taking for Manny Packy in 09.

    FACT!!

I think every great fight has his years at the top level, his prime years and then his peak where he looked unbeatable.

I think 09 was definitely his peak year.

Whether h2h he enters a special group it's hard to say because every great looked amazing in their peak year.

This guy still doesn't understand that the thread isn't about Floyd at all. Yet again, I suggest you answer the question asked and leave your hero out of it. :-(

Irrelevant. Hatton is a natural lww, all of his best performances came at lww, and he did not look anywhere near as comfortable or strong or effective at ww. Next.

Counter example? Which consensus, say, top 30 type fighter has failed to have a peak victory that highlights their greatness?

I'm not saying it has nor hasn't happened just interested in the thought process here.

:huh But that isn't what you said at all. You said all great fighters have years when they look unbeatable. That isn't the same as saying all great fighters have a peak victory that highlights their greatness. Totally different thing there IMO.

Well unbeatable, which greats have still looked beatable even during their peak year?
