    Actually floyd was on ESPN in August 2006 when he did not have an opponent...He was quoted as wanting to fight Shane Mosley back then actually...

    wasnt Floyds fault Shane wanted to take a vacation and get his tooth fixed.

    Also, Floyd beat Shane after the Tony fight...

    Back to the thread topic and MY FIRST POST, it's clear you and your boyfriend popkins are just here to troll...

    I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE THREAD TOPIC IN MY FIRST POST AND YOU GUYS SOMEHOW FIND A WAY TO MAKE IT ABOUT FLOYD...

    Anyways...yea man..Hatton wasn't the same after getting knocked and takin that first loss..He showed it in the Lazcano fight...

    I can agree and say Floyd did not fight Cotto..maybe he did duck Cotto....
    If you remember right, he had been saying long before Cotto was a top dawg at 47..

    If you remember right too...Cotto won his belt at 47 in Dec 06 over Quintana.....Floyd was already getting ready for the money fight with Oscar and a new title in a new weight division....

    Post Oscar Cotto fought Zab...there was about 6-7 weeks after the Zab fight where neither Floyd nor Cotto were in a bout...yes it coulda happened..

    bigger money fight was with Ricky at the time though...

    After the Ricky fight we heard Floyd was gonna "take some time off".....

    Then came the brief moment where a rematch with Oscar was gonna happen in Sept but Floyd retired....

    came back to the sport to fight the #2 guy (after 17 mos off) and beat him in a tune up really..

    Then he fought the guy who everyone said he wouldnt fight (even though he tried to get em B4 the De La Hoya fight when he wasn't even ranked) in Shane...took the best shot and shut him out..

    Many of the *******s said "yea Floyd will beat him but he won't come forward" and he still came forward...

    How as it nonsense. He can still lose 2 rounds and beat give him more wear and tear on his brain than getting KOed in 2 rounds.

    Yes of course. Despite what these fanboys say about Hatton and Cotto, they were on par if not better than Tate and Ramirez (at the time he fought Whitaker).

    good point however the first knock down he would have took before without that a whole different sequence of events could have happened in the fight. Well just my opinion. BTW i know pac would still have knocked hatton out :)

    Dude gimme a break. Hatton got spanked by Floyd a year before, and Hatton was getting his ass tagged by Juan Lazcano before the Pacquiao fight.

    Cotto got hit with bricks a year before he fought Pacquiao. Not a great year at all and im a Pacquiao fan
