Maybe but he didn't even get diagnosed till 2011 a year after the fight personally I think it was just a bad match up for Jacobs same way I feel it would be a bad match up for G

Hard to say since his career was tragically cut short, but his destruction of Danny Williams stands out more than any of GGGs wins that come to mind off hand

GGG fought every style in the amatures and has a better chin than Jacobs, that being said I think it would be an interesting fight.

Too small a sample size. The Jacobs fight was great but I’d need more evidence to rank this guy over prime GGG. It was one of the best fights on paper that never happened due to Pirog’stragic injury. Triangle theories are fun but never seem to work out. Just another case of, we will never know. I’d take GGG in a head to head prime for prime matchup.

If you ain't injured you ain't working hard enough and if you ain't working hard enough you'll never amount to nothing in this game. Pirog had to retire due to injury well before his sell by date had expired so we know he was putting in the graft in the gym and he can sail off into the sunset with his head held high knowing that he gave it everything he had.

"I'd much rather achieve nothing and die broke and penniless knowing that I gave it my best shot than I would die a rich man and for all my wildest dreams to come true if I hadn't put in the hard work to deserve it." -- Jeffrey Mayweather

Doesn't matter, Canelo whoops them both on the same night.

That's pretty much how osteosarcoma works. Correct.
