Was Ali`s quickest performance in terms of speed shown vs Brian London?

    Put the eye test to it.
    The late 70s.
    70,71,72,73 he was just as fast. He didn't lose speed. What he had lost was the ability to dance and glide for 3 minutes a round. He would rest more but he hands were a blur.

    Ali was lighter and more active mid 60s

    wouldve whipped Norton

    and Louis both

    Too agile an would fluster Louis

    Joe would have Ko'ed the faster Ali. Ali became a threat to Joe Frazier after he learned to clinch, not before. Joe knew ring cutting on a level like Chavez. even the fastest boxer would get stuck on the ropes eventually. Ali never had the power to KO Frazier quick. It would always be war, except the fight where Ali was allowed to clinch at will. The young Ali would get roughed up by Frazier.

    Come to think of it, after Liston did Ali fight anybody dangerous until Frazier ?

    I'm not sure Ali was faster with his hands than Patterson.

    I think his punches against Williams were as a fast as any he threw.
