i thought he was robbed the first 100x watching the fight.i thought dirrell outboxed froch 9 out of 12 rds, not to mention froch ruff house tactics had dirrell running for his life. but wtf froch was hitting on the break and after the bell, slamin and anything ele he wanted to do. i remember it was one rd where direll stood his grown and sayed ****ed that and he went in on froch, he even had him hurt. but the next rd he ran and at the end he loss. if they same fight happend in the states dirrell would have been champ, but then other people would have screamed robbery. so it is what it is, but i think dirrell won that fight, but hell i also think froch beat kessler.

Dirrell was robbed. But, I attribute that to his unsureness. He didn't yet realize how much better than Froch he was. He could have exchanged a little more and gotten the best of them. His defense was brilliant and how some of those early rounds got scored for Froch was beyond me. He was made to look a fool and Dirrell basicly owned him.

I also credit Froch though. He had no answers for the better man so he went in and roughed the show up. He got dirty, mean and did what he could to make it a closer type fight late. He mucked it just enough for them to justify ripping Andre off. I don't even want to say that he deserved a draw at least, because Dirrell won that fight.

I hope to see them rematch one day. But it won't be as sweet for Dirrel because Ward will have already took him to bits. Ward is in another zone and Froch won't be able to muddy the waters enough against him. Ward may even get dirty, mean and nasty himself. Not only beat him in the skill areas, but also beat him with the rough tactics. A comprehensive beating!

Dirrell was a disgrace in that "fight" full stop.

Guy turned up to steal the title by doing the minimal and running for the rest, simple as.

If he had won a world title fighting like that it would have set a precedent and would have been very bad for boxing as a whole.

Dirrell finished stronger that's for sure. Flashes of brilliance in the later rounds, he definitely had Froch hurt. Too bad he kept holding on, and complaining for most of the fight. A draw would be the most accurate result....

Close, ugly fight. Robbery? Child please. How can a close fight be deemed a robbery, no matter who won?

The poll sucks because it's saying if you thought Dirrell won that it was a robbery.
I thought he did, but hell not a robbery

Dirrell lost and it was not even close. All he did was fall down on canvas, complain, run, he was a coward and deserved to lose!

There are cases where the ref can deduct points based on a boxers inactivity in a fight. Dirrell in Dirrell-Froch is not the best example of that but my point remains, that is, excessive running should in some cases affect the scoring, particularly for a contender in a title fight.

Anyone who thinks that fight was close is a fool who can't score to save their life. You don't win rounds by ineffective aggression/missing all of your punches. Dirrell-Froch is a 10-2 fight with slight variances being acceptable.. Not close at all.
