You do realise that both calcium & sulphur are also ingredients of HUMAN SWEAT!! dont you??? TheTrace Elements found by the microscopic tests were compatible to Human Sweat NOT PLASTER!!

I've never seen such soft looking shots carve a guys face up like Margarito's were doing to Cotto in that first fight. I'd also point to the Lujan fight as one to have suspicion of the wraps. Lujan's ear was cut damn near all the way off. That suggests there may have been something more than just gauze and tape in those wraps.

Actually, one would expect to find minute amounts of calcium in sweat. But not sulfur.

Why would there be concentrations of human sweat in a knuckle pad put under the wraps before the fight?

Why would the pad be hard to the touch?

Why would witnesses, including the state-appointed observers in the locker room, all say it had a strip of hardened white substance resembling plaster across it?

Why would the trainer who wrapped his hands say he made a mistake?

Why wouldn’t Margarito categorically deny anything being in his hand wraps and instead say ‘Well, I’m not legally responsible, that’s my trainer’s fault’?

The rules say only tape and gauze. More was observed. More was found. Your boy cheated.

Believe what you will its a free world. I still believe, well actually i KNOW there was nothing in those wraps in any way dangerous to his opponent . If plaster was found they;d have indicted him & rightly so, But they couldnt & didnt. They just ruined his career

Answer my questions. You have to have answers for those questions to reconcile your point of view in your mind.

It was a used gauze pad not a new one no one is denying that that is why it had sulphur & calcium on it. Javier said it was an accidently used. take the pads out of any guys wraps & do that same test on them you'd get the same result
Never have the CSAC or that POC ever come out & accused Tony of having plaster in his wraps their lawyers were too wise

That had to be because Tony was so scarred mentally from what the CSAC did to him, the injustice of it all, the scandal took away Tony's mental edge to hurt people right CJ ?

How did it get sulfur in it? That’s not a natural ingredient of sweat.

Why/how would anyone put ANY hardened object or supplemental material under their wraps?

Why would his trainer, caught red-handed with one such object under the wraps of one hand, DENY that there was one under the other, previously wrapped hand, only to be caught lying when they made him unwrap that hand.

The reason there was no further legal action was because they caught it before the gloves were on. If he had used it in the fight it would have been assault with a deadly weapon.

Some money under the table to the commissioners from his team/promoter could also lesson the penalty to just a one-year ban. Should have been for life.

No he didn't stop with this idiotic statement.

This is Cotto's face an hour after the Margarito 2 bout.

    https://i.ytimg.com/vi/J3zMHhxsOaU/maxresdefault.jpg

Those are nothing but SCRATCHES from the gloves because Cotto's facial tissue and durability never recovered after that plaster beating in the first fight. Cotto was bloodied up and both eyes were completely swollen from the first fight. His scratches and redness almost completely healed in the rematch almost immediately, there was a pic a day after the fight on his plane ride back to Puerto Rico which I can't seem to find where his face was completely fine after the redness from the scratches went away.

I still can't get over the fact that Mayweather at 154 caused more damage, stunned and almost knocked out Cotto 5 months later, yet Margarito landed his best punches after his weapons got taken away and didn't do anything to Cotto besides give him a few scratches from his gloves.

    Indict him for what ?

They caught him before the fight. There was no damage done to the other party.

The only thing they could do was suspend their licenses for breaking the rules.

    Sweat hardens ??????

Take your sweatshirt and magnify it 6 times and you still won't get the photographs produced at the hearing.

Has anyone found their sweatshirts hardened after a game ?

Sweatshirts get soaked in sweat after a hard game, much more than your hands (because those have less sweat glands): you can squeeze the sweat out of it. Yet it never hardens. Even after leaving it for weeks untouched.

It never happened to me in 30 years.

Not my sweatshirt, or socks, or underwear.

PS: still waiting for the word "harmless" allegedly printed in the lab report according to you
