Was anyone else disgusted by Kovalev prolonging the Pascal beating?

    I wasn't offended in the least, Pascal is a loudmouth ***** and deserved to be punished for his transgressions, he'd already fought Kovalev, he'd already been stopped by Kovalev he knew how hard he hits, he knew what the ramifications could be, he brought it upon himself. Kovalev is a deeply passionate and honorable man and when someone disrespects him he takes it personally, like most people should and appropriately krushes his haters ruthlessly.

    Simakov was coming at Kovalev taking the full brunt of his power, he wasn't trying to survive, he was trying to win, and sadly took far too much damage in the process, Pascal was retreating the majority of the rematch, Kovalev was varying up his shots, doing a lot of body work, not putting full power into his shots to the head, you could tell, he was just toying with Pascal to embarrass him and humble him, he wasn't trying to kill Pascal.

    He wasnt toying with Pascal at all. Of course he was hitting him as hard as he could. He was mad and Pascal can take a hell of a shot. If he was toying with him where were the bolos? Where were his famous penouse thrusts?

    No. He was trying to inflict savage damage on him the way he did a 50 year old man for sticking his tongue out at him

    I know he's your boy, but he's a complete psycho

    Someone with genuine remorse over killing someone in the ring doesnt orgasmically sprint full speed across the ring at his knocked down opponent to land the hardest shots he can, then scream at them to get up and take more

    Money doesnt equal genuine remorse. Watch Chris Eubank for genuine remorse at severely hurting someone in the ring

    Kovalev is the epitomy of

    If he dies, he dies

    Which is why he deserves to be trapped in a corner against The Steamroller and have his face and body punched flush over and over unable to fall with a completely incompetent ref who doesnt stop it cause Sergei isnt falling

    Nah, don't agree here, he just gets a little too passionate, I get where he's coming from entirely, he shuts his brain off and become a terminator in the ring, you can't fight with remorse and bottled up regrets and fears, he has to go all out. People can compartmentalize things, he clearly regrets what happened to Simakov, but he probably has convinced himself that Simakov had a preexisting condition and would have died anyway. People have to lie to themselves all the time to make the awful things they've done go down more smoothly, otherwise they wouldn't be able to live with themselves.

    As far as Beterbiev goes, he broke Cloud's jaw, he KO'd Campillo cold and walked away like an assassin, he has frightening power, he knows it, and does that make him apprehensive? Not in the least, he's just as capable of killing someone in the ring as Kovalev and that doesn't slow him down. Beterbiev is naturally cold and I do genuinely sense a real vicious streak in him, Kovalev just gets emotionally carried away.

    That's the difference. Beterbiev could indeed easily murder someone, but instead walks away cool as ice. Sergei screams at them to get up so he can hurt a badly hurt guy even more. That's extremely disturbing, especially taking into account what he's already been through

    I think he's a a genuine psycho/sociopath

    Who cares? It's up to the corner/ref to stop the fight. Kovalev should be able to do w/e the hell he wants, he has a man across from him trying to take his head off. No such thing as sympathy.

    He didnt even wait to see if Campillo was unconscious. Just turned around and walked off in one of the ice coolest KOs any of us have ever seen

    And you've no idea the amount of times i was gonna bring the empath thing into this (or maybe you do - i sensed some intense electricity when you read that first reply)

    My spidey empath senses tell me Beterbiev is a heartless assassin with no genuine human emotions, and had Campillo gotten back up, he have went over there and bashed his skull in some more.

    Everything I write has electricity literally bubbling out of it.:D
