Nice head movement, good uppercuts, feints but what impressed me the most was that jab, He uses his body`s impulse and it seems more like a straight right hand than a jab, I know those are things that he already knew, but FMSR brought them back and improved hatton in a great way...good for hatton and I hope he can get mixed with the p4p guys again.

I don't know. It was a good win. I think Ricky kinda looked better cause Paulie didn't show up. The fight ended up looking really ugly like all of Hatton's fights, mostly Paulie's fault, but still ugly.

He did a lot of good, but his defence is still more porous than a collinder and he keeps smothering his own work by getting too close.

Alot of times that "jab" your talking about could be better defined as a left hook. I was suprised how many lead left hooks he threw, one after the other.

He was in tremendous condition & next to Pacquiao is the best at 140. I would absolutely love to see those 2 go at it.

Yes, I was very impressed with the way Hatton walked right through Paulie's slick style, teaching him a good lesson in power boxing.

I think he looked a tad bit better, but it was a combination of his opponent rather and some small improvements. He still lunges in way too much and over shoots himself, not giving himself punching room for combinations. He jumps and lunges, throws one punch, and smothers. The thing is that he has the physical tools to be better IMO, its in technique where he lacks.

I guess Hatton is happy with his street fighter style & will never be the greatest boxing stylist. But for the most part, he doesn't have to.

He would have done considerably better fighting PBF at 140 vs 147. Why do you think PBF demanded the fight be at 147?

    Advantage...Floyd.

No. He is a fighter decent skill, but lives off of the fact that he is able to physically bully the opponents. There is no Hearns or Hopkins in Hatton.

:rofl When PBF was at 140 he wanted to whip both Hatton and Cotto, guess what? Both said they were NOT ready to fight him.

I thought he looked alot better. He need to continue working on distance and not smothering the guy though.
