Was anyone else pissed when VITALI retired, and then cancels his comeback fights?

Let's say Vitali was to win a title - I think he would retire for good after that.

As brothers - they just want to be Champions at the same time. Vitali expresses that it's his reason for coming out of retirement.

I for one believe that this will happen if he was to win a title. Him retiring would free up his belt for his brother to fight for it - giving us an Unified Champ in the Heavyweight Division.

With that being said - I don't think Vitali will win a title anyway.

 

I read his plans is to be ready in case Peter or Oleg can't fight in March, so he (Vitali) will be able to take their place.

But even if they do fighit as planned, I still think Vitali should take a tuneup fight, before he fights the winner, as he's been out so long, now.

 

Brittley has as much chance at entering the ring for a prize fight again as Tito does of beating Roy this weekend.

 

You can bet your life if he gets his title shot and wins then he is going to start calling Lewis out yet again. Maybe he could face Tyson if he really comes back lol.

 

More disappointed than pissed, really. I firmly believe that Vitali wants to come back and it pains him more than his fans who support him when he can't go through with it.

Having said that, I feel that we've seen the last delay we're going to and that we can expect him to come back this year and grab two of the belts.:good

I was upset when he delayed & cancelled the Rahman fight as well as the McCline fight but in a way I'm glad he refuses to fight if he's not 100%. I want to see a healthy version of Vitali in the ring or none at all.

That being said, I'd love to see Vitali beat the **** out of whoever wins Trolleg vs. Samthemule.

 

I was disappointed that Vitali never fought Rahman. I think he would have cleaned Rahman's clock - but it was a fight that needed to happen. The point has come in Vitali's career where he needs to, as Lennox Lewis might say, "listen to his body." When you can't even make it through a training camp without sustaining an injury - much less multiple training camps - your body simply cannot handle the wear and tear any more.

I do not believe Vitali will fight again.

 

All of Vitali's injury-postponed fights are a shame and a disappointment for the sport, and its fans. Without the injuries he could have achieved much more in the sport.
