I think after the first six rounds the fight was close-ish (I had it 4-2 to Floyd, which meant Manny was still in with a shout) But after just the second round, and seeing Manny's baffling Canelo-like gameplan, was anyone else thinking "uh oh, this isn't good. He's going about this all wrong." Common thought was he would really force the fight in the first three rounds or so and really put Floyd out of his comfort zone. But he didn't at all. He was flat-footed and accepted the slow pace. Floyd said he knew after just round one that he had his number. Did anyone else realise this? Note: I really wanted Manny to win this fight.
Yep after losing them. I think I had the 3rd a draw then Pacquiao had some success However at round 7 Pac starting lifting his legs (cramps) and I knew it was going to be all over. I said before the fight the first 6 rounds were everything for Pac..he lost half of them...
I had it a draw after 6, and i was actually liking Pac's momentum somewhat, albeit in small bursts of pushing Floyd onto the ropes and being the busier fighter....but round 7 on Floyd outboxed him pretty easily, Manny wasn't as aggressive and the fight was over in my mind after round 9 or so
By the end of first round I was concerned. By the end of the second round I knew he was going to lose.
Was worried about mid way through the fight. He wasnt using any "angles" as they had said they would. He had many opps to use the right hand by moving to his right, and wasn't. I was also worried there would be an accidental headbutt or cut when floyd locked him up.
