I certainly was, I honestly thought that this fight was going to be the WORST of all Super 6 match-ups, including Dirrell-Froch, and yet it happened to be the best fight.
I thought it would be a competitive fight, with Dirrell fighting from the outside, running around AA and throwing his quick combinations. AA was my favourite to catch Dirrell in the late rounds, but I even thought Abraham could win this fight on points, throwing his own combinations and giving Dirrell a close fight on the cards. I was wrong at the last point, but I wasn´t surprisend at all, that we saw a very dramatic fight. I´m so sad that we didn´t saw the last round, but it´s Arthur´s own fault that he took the chance of a late KO from himself and I´ve been so worked up, when Abraham knocked Dirrell down in the 10th, hoping for another knockdown. After the fight I´ve to admit that I underestimated Dirrell´s heart and his power in front of the fight, but I thought it would be close. Now we can be delighted that there are some more of these great match-ups in the Super-Six.
I think the original poster meant fun to watch. Dirrell's prior match was hard to watch and Abraham doesn't do much for the first 4...I thought it would be a snoozer barring a KO
I was surprised. I thought that Dirrell would be like he was against Froch and he stood up right in front abraham, moving or course but not running at all.
I made a thread on the fight a while before it happend a lot of ppl thought the fight would be balls. I was one of them, pleasently suprised
Did not think it would be as good as it was but also never thought it was gonna be the worst fight of the super six.
