Thought he was alright, bar the crap jokes, would have preferred it if he'd just given more boxing anecdotes.

Although he did not say specifically he seemed to allude to retirement, saying he'd achieved above and beyond what he could have ever of hoped for, nothing else to fight for etc etc etc, but then stated at the end of that "but I'm not saying for definite that I'm retiring" lol

Frank Bruno BTW was a legend, Chatting about Tyson,Jumbo Cummings, Witherspoon, divorce, being detained under Mental Health Act amongst other things. Was also chatting away in bar beforehand. Top Bloke :thumbsup

He said that he got beat fair enough, talked very briefly about having a crap training camp, but stated that he wouldn't go into details about it

Which is pretty much the truth of what happened... though he may have still got beaten, maybe just less devastatingly.

running in army boots for 2 hours at 6am before being driven to a camp to spar southpaw middleweights trying to stove your head in does not really develop you much.

I read his feet were that fooked they had to get a chiro in to sort them out.

Completely clapped out come fight night.

so hatton fans are blaming the army boots now, but they were the keys to success to beating that great slick powerful counterpuncher malignaggi

I was at the Belfast show as well...Had a great night. The turnout was pretty poor -half empty hall - was surprised at this. I was at a Hatton dinner in Bury before and Ricky told pretty much the same jokes in the same order! but there was more indepth talk of fights and clips of his career and as it was in a function room was a much better atmosphere and everyone was able to get stuff signed if that was of interest. I would have liked Ricky to take questions from the floor-he wasn't giving much away about anything career wise! Bruno looked fit and was up for a laugh as always.

Why the hell is he a disgrace? Hatton was brave enough to fight the 2 P4P ranked no.1 fighters in the world within 4 fights. Yeah he lost but so what, that just means he wasn't good enough. The guys a brave mother ****er who might not have been that skilled but he has only ever lost 2 fights to 2 ATG's. He left his soul in the ring with the Mayweather loss, clearly his passion was to be the best ever and that's commendable when some fighters are willing to go there whole career not fighting the best they can.

Are you suggesting that Hatton's camp went a ok? When he got beaten the **** out of by those middle weights, Hatton's trainer turned up late and hardly said a thing to him fight night and he had ****ed up feet (I didn't know about the feet tbh)? I'm sure Pac man would have won anyway and I'm sure Ricky would be man enough to admit that but it certainly didn't help and if someone asked me if the training camp went well when it most certainly didn't I wouldn't lie either.

**** anyone who goes in there willing to risk there life is ok by me, even Fraudley Harrison altho I find its hard not to hate that guy cause of the BBC not showing boxing anymore but whether fighters are bums or not they are not a disgrace...get your ****ing head checked you *****.
