??? In hindsight I’ve developed a respect for big Aud for branching out on his own and cutting the middleman. And although his fights and promotions were awful on the BBC he has to commended for being his own man.
He chose awful opponents and made sure opponents and undercard fighters got a pittance and he took it all. It wasn’t sport and it wasn’t healthy.Self promotion isn’t healthy.
The BBC gets a lot of stick for its news coverage, but it's dramas, and science, history and music documentaries are far superior than any other UK channel. They also show good foreign films. Plus, the BBC doesn't feel the need to constantly put out lowest common denominator programmes that just pander to the mainstream.
I forgot it's the school holidays Good job i don't watch there biased repeated bull shyte then Big aud the boxer that was scared to let his hands to with haye is as fraudulent as they come
Whilst British professional boxing is right to shun Audley, amateur boxing has a lot to thank him for.
I think he set a trend. He got it wrong in trying to do it all himself but showed the likes of haye you could branch out on your own.
That fight against Dominc Negus was ridiculous, I'll never forget that. Audley wasn't cut out for the pro game, great amateur though.
