I would like an apology if we are to continue. If you can't own up to posting 4 ratings from 1958..and just call me names and claim that "4=5", you are deranged and not worth any more of my time.

I made one factual error and owned it, be a man, and do the same.

Well, this sounds awfully like the Tyson-vs-Holmes-Holmes'-post-Tyson-career situation.

    Yes, it is similar.
I would say Holmes did a wise thing in getting some tune-up fights before facing Holyfield though, something he didn't do against Tyson.
I wouldn't say it made him better in a real absolute sense though,(as some might try to claim), since he was older and fatter in 1992. He didn't look good.
I think Tyson beat a better version. But there's no doubts the Holmes was years past his prime.
Hence why he lost to Tyson and Holyfield, in my opinion he'd handle them both prime-for-prime.

My theory is that Larry Holmes in the 1990s is generally overrated by people who overrate the 1990s as a heavyweight era.
If you subscribe to the idea that Mercer was near-great or anything more than a mediocre contender, or that McCall (who narrowly beat an even flabbier, older Holmes) was anything more than an mediocre alphabet titleholder...... And usually those would coincide with thinking Lennox Lewis a top 3 all time great or something .... Then naturally the geriatric version of Holmes would be overrated.

Thing is Calzaghes last big win was 97 against Eubank and then 2007 when he fought Lacy.

How can someone go 10 years between his two big wins?

What was he doing during this time beating up Welsh Miners and Latvian Toilet cleaners?

    Yes, almost.
He has a few non-Latvian "Euro bums" and some Mid-West hillbillies in there.
They also had a guy from Paraguay (perhaps they didn't want to cough up the dough for a standard token Argentinian ??).
Oh, and "The Egyptian Magician" ... that was a nice touch.

    Bum City.

April 1958. I left it off my original post because it only named the top three fighters:

    https://flic.kr/p/Yr41nS

However, my point still stands, which Im sure you are sharp enough to figure out:

Even if I only listed 4 tell me how those 4, three of which were released in the first 5 months of the year, constitute quarterly rankings? So if you are owning errors just admit you ****ed up and that while you might be able to do basic math fractions still seems to be a problem for you. Here I will spell it out: A quarter is 1/4 of a whole. There are 12 months in a year meaning that if the NBA published quarterly ratings they would publish every 3 months: Jan, April, July, Oct. So explain to me how we have published ratings referenced as being published "today" and "yesterday" in January, February, April, May, and November??

How do you specifically define "an elite ATG light heavyweight"?

He was considered a top 10 LHW for 10 consecutive years, all of which happened in his 40s. Who else can say that, regardless of age? Not many.

So to the original question, I suppose it depends on your definition of the word "elite". But being viewed as a top 10 above your natural weight class, and achieving all he did over the age of 40 - yes, I would say that constitutes some elite level stuff.

Ooooooh, Now they have different TYPES of ratings. LOL. So they have their January ratings, and their gold star February ratings, and their super duper April ratings... Dumbass...

If you owned all your mistakes like a man should youd shut the **** up and listen to your betters instead of pontificating about **** you arent educated on.

I dont care. I dont have to lie about what I have. I think Ive proven beyond question to most here that there is plenty in my collection that you and other idiots like yourself never knew existed.

You can explain away an inconvenient truth.

Those were the June rankings, released at the beginning of June. These were the July rankings released on the last day of June:

    https://flic.kr/p/Yy3UrA

God that must hurt Mr. "The NBA only released quarterly ratings" LOL. Wonder why they were releasing them monthly and accompanied by a "FIGHTER OF THE MONTH" Hmmmm. Another one of those inconvenient truths. But your a big man so Im sure youll own it like a man. RIIIIIIIGHHT..

Again, I dont give two shits what some moron on the internet thinks. Ive shown you photos, Ive shown you stills from the film, You can look up other wire photos of the same incident. You can read where Moore "bounced Pastrano off the ropes" in the fifth round which "took the steam" out of Pastrano. I dont care what you call it speaking from your position of ignorance. The point is that Moore likely saved the fight with that one incident which was the most eye catching of the fight regardless of whether you believe it happened or not.

The point being that it was Pastrano winning the late rounds which nearly every paper supports except your boxrec wire report which pretends it wasnt Moores fat ass huffing and puffing at the end.

Once again. I dont five two ****ing shits what some idiot who has never seen the fight and who hadnt read **** on it other than what he saw in boxrec until I posted it. Thats what is so ****ing comical here. You arguing with someone until your last breath about something based on a sentence you read on a website that didnt even originate in a first hand source. The only person stupider than you here is me for wasting my time on a moronic ******* like you. Im done. Enjoy your ignorance. If you really are from Kentucky it explains a lot.

Im not going to apologize because my point still stands and it stood on the basis of four clippings or five. They released monthly ratings which you didnt know, denied, and continue to deny. This makes you disingenuous or intentionally obtuse at best and a lowdown liar at worst. Either way I wont apologize for your stupidity or lies.

I'm just going to leave this here and hope you can get the help you need.

Sociopaths are often unable to control their behavior and their expressions of annoyance, irritability and threats when faced with situations not appealing to them and they often tend to resort to threats, aggression and verbal abuse. Sociopaths could also have been influenced by various environmental factors around the age of 15 that is also one of the main reasons for this disorder in individuals. Some of the environmental factors can include deprivation, sexual abuse, abandonment, emotional abuse, association with people who are antisocial, physical abuse and others.

    Profile:
*Usually has a history of behavioral and academic difficulties, yet "gets by" by conning others
*Feels entitled to certain things as "their right."
*Seeing any social situation as a contest or a test
*No feeling of shame when caught an embarrassing situation
    *Believe they are all-powerful, all-knowing.
*Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.
*If asked to apologize, a sociopath will often strike out and attack their victim, rather than admit they may have made a mistake or misstep
