Joseph Parker should have done the Haka dance to intimidate AJ that night. He might have rattled AJ enough, but Parker was a little passive them days. The ref didn't help either. But all in all AJ boxed a professional gameplan to a clear UD. Decent win.

His win over an aged Povetkin where he struggled a bit is decent win also. Got the KO.

Aged Wlad, he got up off the canvas and showed heart to win by KO. Good win.

Another win over an aged fighter in Pulev was decent.

Bob Arum is a man who was alive to watch Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, Jack Dempsey, maybe even Jack Johnson, John L Sullivan, Mike Tyson, Lennox, Evander, Larry Holmes... so he will be comparing AJ to them, and AJ isn't really on their level. But we have to be just, we have to fair and honourable. AJ fought who was available to him at the time and came up on top most the time. In this generation he was an elite heavyweight.

Bob's not wrong. Just look at the zealots on this forum. They'll defend Joshua's puffed up overrated resume of old men until their last breath. They'll write a thesis on who Otto Wallin is a good fighter just to puff up Joshua. It's pathetic, really.

Joshua just isn't that guy. Never has been. Olympics robbery and old men does not make you great.
