    yeah... no

I will explain this once, since I do hold out hope for you in saving your thread. About the long term effects of anabolic steroids.

The heart 'muscle' is at about the right size to contract properly as it is. If you increase its muscle mass, the heart can no longer beat efficiently. In the long run, steroids add muscle all over the body, and the heart is one of those main accumulation points. A good example of steroid abuse ruining the heart is the recent death of the actor from the Green Mile, the huge black guy.

Its because the heart obeys Starlings law, which you can read up on wikipedia, where it details the reduction in stroke volume with every increase heart muscle mass. Its 1st year medical science at uni. And if you are pumping less blood then your body's muscles work poorer, since you need the o2 supply above everything else to work your muscles. Starlings law is the same for EVERY human being. Theres absolutely no exceptions.

Just trying to educate you, dude, not trying to hurt you. I'd rather you got it than kept going on down the uneducated path and making your thread increasingly ignorant. You deserve better, my good man.

Going by the thread starters logic Amir Khan and Danny Garcia are ATGs each for beating Barrera and Morales.

******. Calzaghe only went to America when the best fighters were shot as much as the houses in Palestine. Overrated. Fellow Brits are stupid.

    Ward>Calzaghe. Why? Because it's true.

Fantastic thread ELECTRIC GURU, and one that makes even the most ardent of fans/haters sit up and pay attention.
It was an amazing performance when you consider that shot, bloated, brittle boned Calzaghe having only his 2nd fight at the weight takes on another top 10 fighter of the division and shows skill that you rarely see in a modern ring to completely bamboozle the home fighter for the 2nd time in a row

Yes mate, Lance Armstrong took EPO because he wasn't greedy and he knew EPO would deliberately hold him back from winning the tour de france the 10 times he would have by natural means, he deep down only wanted to win it 7 times - thank **** for the EPO being there to hold him back :lol::rofl:patsch:good

absolute nonsense. I never stated calzaghe was an atg for beating jones, i stated it was an underated performance. You state that calzaghe only went to america after he knew the best fighters were shot - absolute rubbish we both know that hopkins turned down a career high payday to fight calzaghe in america in 2002 - could you be anymore wrong in your post?

Interesting you write that. do you know what EPO is, dude? Its not an anabolic steroid, the issue that I was clarifying for you concerning Starlings law.

I dont wish to make you appear ignorant to readers, so please tell me you understand this.

Thanks Bailey, the problem is that sometimes when you try and educate others, they are scared to debate and because they have a different opinion they run to the mods and cry like pussys to try and get you banned, when it is them who are doing everything in their power to de-rail thread whilst i debate boxing. I do honestly believe that the Jones fans on here are some of the most delusional fanboys on the forum but mind reader has at least restored my faith a little by being prepared to debate with an open mind, whilst the likes of irishy, imperial, iceman, and rudyard run off the thread in fits of tears due to my superior intellect and wit.

Whilst injecting yourself with anabolic steroids won't immediately make you faster, fitter or stronger, you're not quite being clear.

Anabolic steroids increase the recovery time of muscles after they've been broken down through physical exertion. In turn, this means that athletes (be it footballers, boxers, tennis players) can increase the intensity of their training, because of reduced recovery time. More intense training means you can work harder to perfect your craft, you're fitter faster and stronger. So yes anabolic steroids can increase speed, power and with increased training, technique. They can't turn me into Usain Bolt, but through using them I can become quicker than I am now - The key words here being 'can become'. For a professional boxer, who trains for weeks and months at a time at a high intensity, you simply cannot ignore the benefits that banned PED's would bring

My source? Talking to people who have experience with performance enhancers.
