Not sure if his frame is that big or if he just bulked his way up. He certainly looked alot bigger than cotto who was a good size natural welterweight probably 160 in the ring. So canelo is probably between JMW and MW naturally. He is something like 170 naturally but has been rehydrating to more like 180 in the last 3 years with that mexican meat
No he never was a middleweight really, not the level of GGG being one, so it is an advantage to GGG no matter what.
Wrong forum(why is this in classic)? Moving back down to 154 would be risky for Canelo. He'd need to go on a ridiculous calorie deficit and make himself lose significant muscle mass. And he still might not beat Jermell Charlo (or Andrade).
