he is what fury would have been, had he had the balls to honor his contract and fight the rematch.

You guys said Breazeale was a bum too before he defeated Izu....

You guys think other guys are going to defeat the same guys Joshua as easy and it's not going to be the case!

One things for sure in the boxing world when you keep winning convincingly you must be fighting weak opponents. Lol

He is just not good heavyweight, not even close. Breazele is much better but not a good heavy himself.

depends on how you judge the fact he didnt throw a punch, did he get caught up in the occasion or was he just not good enough? i lean towards the latter

Very difficult question to answer. This is one for the ages, much like Tunney/Dempsey's long count.

Breazeale proved he was better than many expected, in hindsight the win over Mansour along with Ugonoh and Molina show he's actually a solid heavyweight top 15 material even.

But Martin has proved nothing since his loss to Joshua other than being able to get baked regularly. His best win was on a freak injury too and unlike Breazeale he's shown none of the durability or desire needed to be taken seriously.

Breazeale did far better against AJ too, so you can't compare the two. Just because Martin is garbage it doesn't take away from Joshua's accomplishments he's had far better wins since. I know you're a Joshua fan like me but your sensitivity regarding everything Joshua is unwarranted regarding this topic. Trying to make Martin something he isn't to bolster Joshua is plain silly when Joshua has beaten far better opposition.

There's nothing to suggest Martin is garbage, and was winning against a ranked HW in Glaskov at the time of the injury.

seems like you are emotional one and according to you Joshuas s opponents make him look better then he is and you ran off that thread pretty fast when I called you on it!

the fact remains Joshua barely gives up rounds and his own performance proves he's really that good.so good luck debating me on that one....

Joshua beat him, making Joshua the P4P GOAT. Sugar Ray Robinson is a bum compared to Joshua.

There's nothing to suggest Martin is any good either. Let's be honest Joshua beat Martin without even trying, he's had tougher sparring sessions, hell journeymen have given Joshua more resistance earlier in his career than Martin.

As for Glaskov he's always started slow and never proved he was any good anyway, Christ he needed a robbery to draw with Malik Scott, who isn't even gate keeper level.

As for the other thread I honestly don't even remember it, but then I don't obsess like you seem to do about every supposed disagreement on this forum. And honestly if I said that I retract that because Joshua is the man at heavyweight and his opponent don't make him look good, he makes himself look good, because he's that good!

I don't even get where you're coming from in regards to thinking I think Joshua doesn't look good as I clearly agree with you in regards to how good Joshua is. The difference is I won't waste my time polishing a turd like Martin when greater wins like Wlad, Parker, soon to be Povetkin, hell even Whyte take a sky high dump on a win like Martin, who is as always was to me garbage, honestly I don't think he even beats Malik Scott.

Like several posters have already stated, Martin was not very good but not quite terrible. AJ was a heavy favorite for a reason. And he was caught a bit cold, not that it really mattered in the grand scheme of things.
