Was Charlo overrated?

    Just saw a vid on Charlo being exposed by Harrison and can`t believe fans thought he had a chance v GGG, he has nowhere near the knowledge that GGG has about boxing, he`s just completely basic, have I missed something?

    He’s not the one people are saying has a chance against Golovkin that his brother jarmall who’s moved up to middleweight but he don’t stand much of a chance in my opinion. but your talking about jermell who’s at 154.

    yeah hes American so its the law to hype them as the best in the world unitl they are exposed.

    He is young & good looking (=easy to sell on social media), powerful and athletic so yeah...he was overrated due to those things. Skillwise he is average, probably not even Top 15/20.

    There is a reason two guys having ~30 pro fights and only faced one serious opponent who was robbed vs both (Trout).

    I think Jermall is better than Jermell, I wouldn’t even be certain of him winning the rematch with Harrison.

    I personally don't rate the Charlo's as highly as some do on here, some of the things I've seen on here have been way over the top.

    But to be fair to Charlo, he has lost once by decision in a fight that some people believe he won, and let's be honest every fighter has bad nights.

    So I will give Charlo a chance or two to redeem himself and try to justify some of the over the top hype.

    not on here they aren't but on the comments section on PBC and SHO the general public does and did for wilder

    just by suggesting Fury or Korobov would be a tough night out would get you harassed let alone saying they could win

    No. You are absolutely correct.
    I've been saying all along that GGG will Charbroil Charlo into Charcoal within 5 rounds.

    My girlfriend told me they look ugly, and as for Athletic lets just say a 35 year old man made Charlo look like a one dimensional plodder.

    some of the black americans overated him on here, no surprise, just like a lot of eastern euros are overated by white fuys on here. so pretty much par for the course.
