They both underwhelmed and underperformed in their last matches and in the eyes of some, both lost their fights. I think they both lost. Fighters can and should be able to lose without being labeled "overrated." The talent, athleticism, physical profile, and tools are there, though skills-wise they are average-slightly above average. for fans that thought they were the finished package, at their peak, and on-par with RJJ, BHop, James Toney, etc. etc. then ya, they were overrated. Otherwise, I don't think so, or at least I don't think that can be answered right now. Hopefully these two fights were wakeup calls for them and they come back better because of these fights. I have a feeling they will.

I'm a fan of both Charlo's, but I gotta say, They're cocky, arrogant, and obnoxious demeanor has always been a huge turn off. 99 times out of 100 it's a front and prime indicator of insecurity or the sign of someone who has never truly been tested and faced adversity. It's like guys in the military straight out of basic training, you can tell they are cherries without even looking at them or their rank. You can tell just by hearing them, their false bravado, rah rah bull****. Real battle tested veterans are the exact opposite. Because they know what battle and war is really like, and its nothing like training and cadence. Danny Jacobs is a perfect example of a true class act and battle tested vet. He's had to fight through adversity. He lost early on to Pirog and then had the fight of his life with Cancer. He overcame both and is now a much better person and fighter because of it. A true warrior. Quiet confidence. And you could tell the difference between the two when they had their run-in post whatever fight. it unnerved Charlo. I hope the Charlo's take last weekend as a learning experience and drop the obnoxious act. Deep down I think they are probably really good dudes.

The fact that Jermell was barely able to earn a decision told me all I needed to know about his potential.

Jermall on other hand has the potential to be an elite fighter, but he needs to get serious and stop feasting in low level competition, since his sharpness and timing have slipped in the last two years.

Most people like to see guys who are from the same place or look like them do well. Thats why I've always been a big fan of Butterbean.

Jermell isn't a mw its his his brother Jemall that they say could beat GGG which is nonsense. That dude is mediocre asf! if that Russian dude had any power he'd of knocked out jermall. the Bros are overrated.

LOL at him crying at the post fight presser. Lions only I thought and then you cry when you lose :loel:Doesn't surprise me though they both have that attitude and I don't think either is mentally strong enough to be the man at their weight class

He said he doesn't play video games because he can't stand losing. I believe it and think that mentality will be why he never becomes the man
