I'm making a comparison you nitwit. You're essentially asking why a past his best Chavez wasn't as good in the Randall fight as he had been earlier in his career. The answer should be completely ****ing obvious: because he was older, had been taking damage to the body and brain for years, and thus couldn't perform or take blows the way he could earlier in his youth.

Since that was apparently too much for you to grasp, I used another well known and great fighter, who (surprise surprise) wasn't fighting at the same level in 1978 as he was in 1964. The same way Chavez from 94 wasn't the same as Chavez from 84, or Leonard from '97 who was KO'd ny light hitting blown up lightweight Camacho wasn't the same Leonard who took shots from Hearns (a guy who KO'd cruiserweights) in '81.

Are you starting to get it, or do I have to try breaking out the Explanation Puppets for you? Or is it just that every fighter who gets old and starts performing at a lower level in their old age was only good because they were cheating at their best?

Chavez was just as good as ever when he fought Frankie Randall.

The point is he got knocked down because the fight wasn't in his favor. He moaned about the ref taking points off for his dirty behaviour/low blows which he always does in most of his fights but usually goes unnoticed by the referee.

He then whines at the end and threatens to sue the referee for taking off legitimate points in the fight where he threw low blows.

I dunno why you're bringing up Ali as a comparison. I mentioned him after i said about illegal hand wrapping. Then i mentioned the fight with Henry Cooper.

All fighters become shop worn and done later on. But Chavez wasn't done when he fought Randall.

Just shows how much you know about Chavez, mongloid.

Your dad was still protecting his little sister (your mom) from all the school bullies around the time Chavez was in his prime, so don't speak on anything you clearly know nothing about...that was way before your pathetic existence started.

Wasn't totally done, but was quite shopworn. If you think he was still the same fighter that he was against Rosario, then you're either blind or trolling.

Randall wasn't a young guy either. Yeah, he hasn't been in the wars Chavez had been in, but he had a tough grind to the top.

He wasn't a prime Chavez but he was as good as ever to fight an old Randall.

The judges were probably paid off when he fought Whitaker.

Nowhere near as disciplined as his earlier days, known to be partying hard, snorting cociane, going a week long beer binges, all while having around 90 pro fights...yup, good as ever.

By that logic we can assume all guys "cheat". Chavez did hit guys on the hip but that's "fouling". I don't see people in a rush to jump off worshipping Ali or underrate him because he grabbed people to death. It's a sport, most people will look for things boderline or outside of the rules to win and that's competitive nature taking over. Things like that happen. 90% or more of ATGs fouled intentionally some point in their career and more people would know that if they truly followed the sport.

BTW, Chavez TKO 12 Taylor. And no Taylor didn't"dominate" him. Chavez made him miss a lot and eventually was beaking him down around the 7th leading to the ko rd in the 12th. Credit to both men for putting up two wars against each ther and always coming to fight.
