No. Randall was his first time on the floor, and I'm fairly certain it was his 90th fight.

For undefeated streaks? Or not being knocked down?

Just thinking i may be wrong. Jimmy Wilde and Duilui Loi probably hold those records.

    Nope.

Randall was the first to knock him down.

    Randall won a split decision.

Yeah, Wilde has the undefeated one, and you're right about Loi going his career without being dropped, but his career I call that into question considering how he was dropped vs Ortiz and it wasn't called. Like, blatantly dropped.

No and I don't think he was particularly close, either.

Chavez was 87-0 when he met Pernell Whitaker. That is officially the longest uninterrupted winning streak from the start of a career - although there is some controversy over that because he was apparently DQ'ed in an earlier fight but then the result was changed to a win for him (can't remember which fight that was). He was 89-0-1 when he met Frankie Randall.

Jimmy Wilde was 94-0-1 in official results at the point he lost his first fight but there there was several additional no decisions on his record.

Yes, very certain of that George.
Was watching the fight with my mate, it was a brilliant performance from Randal, then BANG, Chavez was on the floor!!
It was one of the moment s in sports that remain in mind long after the occasion lol.
