He was mad because it's not allowed to advertise products.

 

Not Maidana's problem. Showtime are not his employer, and he is under no compulsion to worry about their broadcasting standards. If they get antsy they have a choice to make: skip the interview, say 'the hell with it' and show it even with it violating their product placement policy, or pixelate the brand name like they did with gangsta clothing or sports team jerseys on most TV in the last few decades.

Not Chino's problem whatsoever.

You know, one thing that seemed odd to me after this fight and during the interview, was how fresh and relaxed Maidana looked, and how upbeat his team were?!

 

That was a dick move by Jim Grey...then again when is Jim Grey not in dick move mode? Bernardo Osuna let Brandon Adams eat his snickers bar after his fight with Raymond Gatica. Let Maidana eat his cookie.

 

They weren't dominated that's why. They fought the best and gave a good performance. Most expected this to be a 12-0 fight so they were relieved.

They all made a little money, left with their health, and Chino's stock went up.
